For over twenty-five years Amy has been an educator in and outside of the classroom. Her passion is helping students one-on-one and tailoring instruction to their individual needs. Teaching the ACT and SAT verbal sections is her forte, and she absolutely loves watching the process unfold as her students gain knowledge, confidence, and success.
Her ability to connect with high school students and understand their lives enables them to feel comfortable, relaxed, and eager to learn. She realizes that this is both a stressful and exciting time in the lives of her students and is there to support them every step of the way.
In addition to test preparation, Amy helps with essay writing at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Amy received her B.A. in Education at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and her Master's degree in Education specializing in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University.
